Here is a link to Lima, Peru's climate

World Weather Information Service - Lima

Some additional stats for Lima that are not given on this website:
Sunshine hours: 1474 per annum
Record high: 33.9C
Record low: 8.7C

I rate it an A-. I like the fact that frost and snow are unknown here and summers are reasonably warm and winters mild.

Unfortunately the low sunshine hours offset the extremely low rainfall (I like the latter). Arica, Chile is sunnier and a significant improvement; Iquique even more so, with higher amounts of sunshine.

B - a slight increase in seasonal variation and sunshine hours would give it an A. Winter minimums are also slightly higher than I would like, and maximums in Oct-Dec a little low.
Generally very equable, but looks like Norfolk Island in it's lack of variability, and the record high is only about 34C.

Re equable temperatures, Antofagasta's record range is quite small for a desert climate - about 5C to 29C.

I would give it a "C" for it's blandness of low sun, lukewarm temps and extreme low rainfall.

*C is still higher than I'd rate anywhere in Canada; there's nowhere I'd consider a neutral climate.

I guess this reflects my sunshine "weight" but I'd give this a D. Quite harsh as it has nice temp ranges, but 1,500 sunshine hrs/year is not much fun...

D. Boring and dry. Only things that keeps it from "failing" is the temperatures and cloudiness.

Temperatures would give it an A-. But the extreme aridity drops it down to C.

A bit too warm in the warmest months, but it's livable. C.
