I couldn't live in a place that is too dry. When I think of very dry, cold climates I think of chapped, bleeding skin.

Humidity for the weather and plants. Dry air for humans. Humidity and high temperatures is a killer. We have it 7 months of the year, here in Texas

My ideal climate is sub-tropical, but I like humidity to go with my heat in summer, but to a reasonable level. Dewpoints around 20/21°C (70°F) would do just fine.

In winter, I like milder temperatures (say 5/15-17) and dry sunny weather with very little humidity, because I find humidity makes it feel colder when it's a cool temperature.

Yeah totally. It was like that today here, 50°F and drizzle/humid, and I remember colder temperatures feeling much "warmer" when the humidity was low.

Yes that's true, but I prefer more moisture, for personal reasons.

I prefer a bit more heat with my moisture, also for personal reasons.

I chose humidity cause there is a better chance of thunderstorms!
