0.5C/ 32.9F at noon here in central London. The thick fog which caused/contributed to that helicopter crash this morning has now cleared, completely clear skies now - a sunny winter's day.
I put a carton of fruit juice outside on the windowsill and just took it in, fully expecting it to be frozen solid. It was right next to a bucket full of frozen water. However, the juice is still liquid, not frozen at all. Weird because it's been out all night and it's still well below freezing. I can only guess that fruit juice has a lower freezing point than water.
