Briefly reached 50 F this afternoon. The next several days are looking calm with a mix of sun and clouds and temperatures in the 30s and 40s. Can't really complain, though of course some snow would be nice.
Sunny spells and light winds, 9.9C at 1pm. The sunshine throughout much of the morning has hardly shifted temperatures at all from the low of 9.2. The daily high so far is still the 10.2C we had at 2.45am. Still waiting for our first day or night of 2012 not to be above average, and the wait looks like going on for some time yet - what a joke of a 'winter' this is turning out!
Yes, I had said 37.9 before but the source I took it from was wrong. The high for yesterday was 38.8 C (101.8 F), according to the Servicio Meteorológico Nacional.

So, the trend so far is the same as the last two Januaries: very little (or no) rain, very dry conditions (for BA standards), and very high highs! This is not so common here. Maybe our summers are changing in that direction, I don't know.
