Myself the coldest weather I've been out in is around 25 degrees a few years ago in Flagstaff, AZ. It felt freezing and I was only out in it for like 5 minutes.

Fairbanks is the one of the coldest cities in the US. I've seen it get down to -50F in the newspaper.

Single digits in Eastern Washington maybe once or twice.

Plenty of teens and 20s at Snoqualmie Pass. Got a good cold snap here in Seattle last year. I unloaded a freight truck at work, at 10pm, in 17 degree weather, and then walked home in it. Loved it!

Not weather, but coldest temps I've ever experienced were in the -10 to -15 range inside the freezer at work, with the fans blowing. In fact I was in there for a few minutes today at -11 and wasn't much bothered by the cold at all. I once worked in there for well over an hour at sub zero temperatures wearing a parka, and actually broke a sweat and had to pull the hood down and unbutton it to keep from overheating!

For me it was about -35°C (-30°F) with a windchill of about -45°C (-50°F).. one morning in Ottawa when I was a college student and let me tell you.. that was COOOOLD.... no wonder I want to move to the tropics. At least 90°F with 80% humidity doesn't hurt your body after 5 minutes of exposure

I found these conditions extremely unpleasant and uncomfortable. Spent one week in Missouri a couple of summers ago. Don't know how people can live in that! Ah well, to each their own, and sometimes you just don't have a choice on where you live anyway.

I had a winter in South Korea, and it was very cold, but plenty of sunny days. I think I remember -28C/-16F at about 1000m/3000ft above sea level. I've had some numbing days with serious windchill in the NZ mountains above 2500m/8000ft
