For Sydney:

April-August is wholly pleasant (minimal chance of 30C/86F days)
September-October is mostly pleasant (some heat but doesn't usually last long)
November-December is sometimes pleasant (mostly in wetter years)
January-February is unpleasant (heat and high humidity a constant threat)
March is 50/50 (OK when its not humid)

YMMV, especially if you're a heat lover.

Mid June through mid September, typically. Least amount of rain during this time!

Late March-April, and September-October-November - although October has not been nice in recent years.
I am sure this question has appeared, in various formats, many times before.

Mid-February through July. Of course, while the skies in May tend to be clear, much of the land is brown and squishy. Sometimes September and even October can be quite nice, or they can be rainy and windy.

February to July because of the maximum of cloudiness, number of raindays and high rain averages.

Sydney's July shows a marked drop in rainfall from the first half of the year and a significant increase in % of possible sunshine as well, so I'm surprised a rain lover and sun hater includes it in the "good months".

Late spring (May-early June) is spectacular in PA. Summer nights are very pleasant as well.

September, May and April.

Transitional months. Not too cool or warm.

I'd transfer "pleasant" as "mild" flavor.
In Central North Carolina, Early December and Early March are the definition of the year, average high hovers at low-60s fahrenheit.
But I prefer in Early December because much lower sun angles.

Late June to mid September is beautiful here (Portland, OR). Warm and dry pretty much every day. Depends what you mean by comfortable. I figure most people mean in the 70s and sunny when they say comfortable. In my made up place, there would be two pleasant periods; one from late April to Early June and one from Early September to Early October. I like hot summers.
