A. almost perfect. Maybe just a slightly bigger range in winter max/min temps, but otherwise nothing that needs to be changed.

B

Winter could be warmer, but summer and the overall precipitation are good.

Wow, an impressive amount of work there. Almost sorry to say that I hate the climate. Solid F for overly warm summers and a complete lack of winter.

Solid B, climate-wise.

Damn, that's impressive, with all the named towns and all. Especially for something done in Paint.

I bet just by looking at those maps, could be detailed enough to convince a not so geography-savvy person it exists somewhere in the world.

I rate Byron an A. The only thing I would change is slightly cooler winters, everything else is nice.

^^ Lol - like I wrote above, at first glance I saw it was called 'New' something, saw the coastline, mountainous topography, a few British-sounding placenames and for a second thought it was a region somewhere in NZ with the rest of the country cut off

I never made up my own fictional country, except for once as a school project but one thing I did used to like doing as a kid was drawing maps entirely from memory, including the locations of cities, lat/longitude lines etc (I suspect just as accurately then as I could do now, or even more so) - anyone else on here who used to do this?

Yep, me too. I used to correct the geography teacher sometimes at primary school, then I stopped. It looks like there are some geography freaks around here. Not too surprising for a weather subforum.
Btw that's an incredible amount of work. I'm almost ashamed I gave Byron's climate a D.

Yes, very frequently, used to draw world maps and even make globes out of paper.

Yea, I did, too. Though I didn't pay attention to lat and longitude lines.
