Which would you prefer:

Long Beach, California - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Perth, Western Australia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Seville - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I would go with Long Beach, CA…warmer than Perth or Seville in winter and less rainfall then both annually…

Seville. I believe it snowed there in 2010, so at least it can, don't think it's ever snowed in Perth or Long Beach?

Perth, mainly as it has the highest rainfall of the group with a summer that is not quite as dry as the others. Seville a close second, I prefer the slightly cooler winters but the summers seem a little too hot for my liking.

Perth- the best of a bad bunch. Wetter than the rest.

Long beach has very nice temps year round, but way too dry.

I just can't see the appeal of a dry summer.

I thought you care more about warmer summers than warmer winters.

As for me, all 3 of them have warm enough winters (highs above 60°F, almost frost free). Seville is too hot, Long Beach's weather is rather dull. As long as there's decent sunshine, I prefer more rain, so I'll go with Perth. Perth is rather hot, but not way too hot, so it makes it a more interesting climate.

Perth probably has hotter ocean temperatures in the summer than Long Beach.

Perth. Warmer SSTs than Long Beach by 4 C / 7 F year-round -- a significant difference. I also like that Perth has such high rainfall for a Med climate while not compromising on sunshine. It's something of an outlier among Med climates in this respect.
