Brisbane due to cooler summers. I think Orlando may be sunnier overall (Brisbane's Wikipedia's are around 200 hours/year too high), plus I am suspicious about the consistency around the "cloudy day" definition.

Yeah not sure on that, brisbane's data was from the bom brisbane aero. Orlando's was from the text on wiki above the climate chart. I am assuming that the way they measure cloudy days is different, I would assume also the clear days is off.
I choose Brisbane because the summer is cooler, 20-30 sounds almost perfect to me, while 23-33 with high humidity is a bit much.
Brisbane can get frosts away from the urban heat island but no weather station in the Brisbane area has recorded as low as -7C.
I should also point out that historically, Brisbane's rainfall is higher than what is shown on Wikipedia because those averages only date back to 1999, and many of those years were bad drought years.
Orlando for the superior (hotter) summer weather. Winters look very similar, as for Orlando a rare and random low in the 30's isn't gonna kill me (or the tropical flora).
Brisbane. Nicer summers, and less potential for killer frosts. Quite a close match.
