Sweet! I've seen snow piled quite a bit higher than an SUV over the North Cascades Highway before, but that is insane! In an awesome way though!

Wow, what can I say?! They must have some seriously impressive machinery to plough away that much snow! I can't seriously imagine that much snow melting over the summer - it must be a mountain road to a glacier or something.

^ North Cascades Nei? That's similar to how I saw it piled up, in late May, so many years ago on the way to Winthrop, the only time I've passed over the North Cascades. Would really like to do it again sometime!

East Rim Drive, Crater Lake. Only a few miles was plowed, wasn't open to cars.
