Terror Valley. While it ge.ts a D-, Mount Despair is HELL. I would commit suicide if I was there for 2 weeks. In Terror Valley's summer I would live a nocturnal lifestyle, and in winter I would only be up during the day. Too bad neither one gets snow.

Mount Despair even though I dislike cold rain.

Terror Valley is just silly and I would never stand that kind of cold either.

Mount Despair...As long as I stayed inside and only ventured out in boots and layers with a waterproof cover, I should be ok..

While I like some variation in temperature (20 to 80 normally with occasional hotter and colder), Terror Valley has lethal extremes on a regular basis..No thank you. Also with no rain, where is their water supply?

Terror Valley would be like living in a colder Sahara. Mt. Despair is just unlivable. So Terror Valley.

Mount Despair.

At least's stable and doesn't see 40C heat and -40C frigidness.

Terror Valley is deadly for the human body and Mount Despair is deadly for the human mind/soul.

Neither.

I think I'd actually enjoy Terror Valley if I had some means to survive such extremes. A little precipitation and humidity wouldn't hurt though. I give it a B.
BTW, what causes such large diurnal variations during the winter (at Terror Valley) if there is no sunlight?

Mount Despair is just monotonous and boring. F

Mount Despair seems a much more extreme version of Macquarie Island.
