Simferopol - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

How do you rate this climate?

Being in the Crimea area, it's mild for Eastern Europe standards and known for being so in its country.

Its winters seem a bit NYC-like in how cold they are, but the summers are New England-like. And it's a bit noticeably drier than either of those climates, being more like the Plains areas in rainfall amounts.

D-/E winters are far too cold.. only thing saving it from an F is passable sunshine and low precipitation.

B - Not bad, overall, warmer and sunnier than I expected.

C. Not bad, but a little dry. Winters could be less cloudy. Not as mild as Yalta. Summers are good, though.

C-: winters are bad, but the other three seasons seem fairly solidly decent.

Summer lows are too warm for me,
because of that it gets a D

Like MrMarbles mentioned, nearby Yalta is considerably milder.

Weak winters for Ukraine. Temps aren't bad, but it is too dry. Sunshine stats are near perfect though. C+

C-

January, February and December should be colder, and July and August cooler (especially highs).

Rest months are good.
