And I will never take a climate like San Francisco over a place like Omaha, even though Omaha has horrid summers. San Fran is just way too mild despite the lovely summer temperatures.
I like mildly warm summers (sun and dry heat - not too much rain/clouds) - think, 26C - 28C on average. Winters I like them mild, but not exactly cool (19-24C is tolerable).

Better move to brisbane then to fulfill your winter dreams.
I'm good at tolerating cold weather but also heat waves in summer too!
My range is about 0~100°F (-18~38°C)
Depends on the mood anyday but usually I prefer the cold.
...absolutely I don't like brutal polar-like cold. (Ex. Alaska, Northern Canada, Siberia)
Winters in New England or more forward to upper Midwest fits ideal in my definition.
