At long last, a nice cool and even pleasantly chilly morning. It was about 62°F and overcast with a slight breeze and a lot of moisture in the air, which when I went outside, felt simply invigorating. The long months of Summer heat and endless sun in El Paso tends to suck the energy and life right out of you. Well, out of me at least. The 100 plus degree days are gone for the year. I counted 26 days at 100°F and above. There looks to be a few more days in the 90's, but Summer is headed out, and good riddance to it.

If you know what I mean.

I agree! I can't complain as much as you have since I'm in Michigan, but it's still been a hot summer and I'm glad to see it go.

We haven't gotten out of the 60s today. It feels great.

Those first cool weekends of the season are the best. Crisp air, football is back, leaves are changing. Ahh.

Forecast calls for low to mid 70s and lows in the 40s the next few days.

Stormy as heck here, the weather was really fluctuating this morning between sunny and rainy/cloudy. Now it's just a light stream of rain.
