Hot day here with a maximum so far of 34C, has started to get rather cloudy as showers and storms slowly close in from the north.

Had a beautiful red/pink sunset, unfortunately most of the storms and rain dissipated before it arrived in the metro area, had nothing more than a few spits of rain.

Overcast, 14 C with a cold 35 km/hr southerly here. This month has been characterised by an almost complete lack of W or NW winds. Went to the beach yesterday and was almost bowled over by that bone-chilling easterly.

Forecast high of 25 C on Sunday with NE winds -- like that'll ever happen!

Today's 27C forecast ended up being 21C in reality.

FAIL WHALE

We've also reached that time of year when Adelaide is infinitely hotter than Melbourne day in day out

Weird day today. It was 19.2c in the usually hottest time of the day (12pm to 6pm), but it went up to 22c when afternoon started (between 6 and 7) and it stayed like that until late night, when it went down to 19.8c, and that was temp when i went to sleep.

All in all, night was hotter than noon, and what it seemed like a cool day in the beggining (thought that if at 1 pm we had 19, we were gonna be at around 14 at night) it ended up being another warmish night.

Least that's better than Formosa's 40°C
