Beijing's winters are a waste imo. They're cold enough for snow but they're bone dry. Meanwhile their summers are more humid and cloudy compared to ours. No bias needed for me to choose NYC.

Ignoring air quality, Beijing. Colder winters yes, but spring arrives much quicker which is much more imporant

Both are horrible climates. But at least Beijing has dry, less snowy winters.

NYC. I like wet winters and dry summers. Beijing is the exact opposite of that.
