NOAA Hurricane Hunters departed this morning to work on project called "Ocean Winds". They will study storms in the North Atlantic
"NOAA42 (Kermit) and crew are currently en route to Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Over the next few weeks, their mission will be to investigate North Atlantic storms in support of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)/NESDIS 2013 'Ocean Winds' project. This picture was taken this morning just before take-off."
