Barnaul. It's warmer, which is highly appreciated given the severe winters and gives it decent summers. It's also a tad wetter and has a better sunshine distribution to me. So an overall easy choice despite the similarities.

Very close. It's a toss up
Very similar climates.

I chose Saskatoon, due to slightly higher sunshine hrs and more extreme record highs and lows .

Saskatoon, summers are closer to my ideal. Otherwise, the decision is almost impossible, as they are both so similar.

Yep there's very little separating them.

I choose Barnaul, for the slightly higher average temperatures and precipitation. Saskatoon has better sunshine distribution and a cuter name .

Saskatoon for being drier and having higher sunshine. Although both are solid F- climates to me.

Barnaul is better:

-warmer summers
-warmer winters
-better sunshine distribution
