9b where I live ( the house) but 10 on some parts of the property. 8 would be a few kms inland from here.

9 up to 11 would be fine.

I am zone 8a but I dont feel like that describes my climate very well at all.
While we dont get cold nights we get some cold days.
My favourite would be 4a.
