No idea what's going on. It's warmer in Melbourne (during the day) and it's winter there.
Is that so unusual to have 13c at 11h52 in northern England? It was about the temperature I had Last summer when
I spent a week around Manchester/buxton/york
I would say it is considering our synoptic conditions and upper level temperatures. The low last night was 11°C and it's hardly risen FFS due to thick cloud. We were forecast to reach 19°C today.
Anyway our average low is 11°C and by now it should be at least 17°C with our average high of 19°C. Just based on my years of weather records.
Last summer was really cold up here as well. Much colder than normal. June's avg high was 14°C or so.
In Manchester 13°C is around their average low for August so that would be very strange during the day.
