I wonder why the Met Office still insisting that the highest temperature is Solent at 29.4C.

However, if they update soon and say Castlederg did record 29.5C, then I'll admit I was wrong.

Castlederg did indeed reach 29.5C, but Solent just nudged past that with 29.6C...

Was 30.0C in my garden though

What the hell is Ireland island?! Surely it's just Ireland, or ROI?



I think this is our 4th or 5th day in a row above 27C. My only complaint is that we have'nt seen any real heat yet, 29C is the highest we've had here. We may hit 30 or 31C on Saturday though. The ground is bone dry and everything us turning brown too.
