I quite like this forecast from Old Forge, NY

Overnight Snow showers. Low around 10. Wind chill values as low as -5. West wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of 6 to 10 inches possible.
Wednesday Snow showers. High near 19. Wind chill values as low as -5. West wind 13 to 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 5 to 9 inches possible.

Am I the only one that envisions a jet stream in the Ohio River Valley in this set up? Snow on the north end towards Chicago I hope

More above normal temps here, yeah we need more of that , we were just having days with highs of 27 C and lows of 21 C in December. Imagine you getting a freeze in early-mid June. It's kind of the same type of annoyance.


But I don't believe that forecast though, next week looks average to slightly below average here.

Earliest Sub Zero Degree Temperature since 1995 Possible in Indianapolis possible Thursday morning if current colder temperature trends continue from the national weather service continue, record low for the date is 7 Below Zero for December 12th in Indianapolis.

Light snow right now. About a inch or so....

Temps and wind chills will dive by tomorrow morning








Maybe even colder by Sunday night Monday. Maybe as low as -26C in parts of the Chicago area....
