Nope, London is not a four season climate. That is ridiculous. You can't distinguish between a cold rainy summer's day and a warm rainy winter's day in London.
London is definitely a 4 season climate. What about the sunlight, or vegetation - it's easy to distinguish a rainy winter day from a rainy summer day. Not to mention a warm, rainy winter day would be about 13-14C while a cold rainy summer day will be about 17-20C, and wouldn't rain anywhere near as long.

Average highs above 80 in summer are a must for a four season climate in my opinion.
Why pick on London particularly I included Christchurch (NZ) for a reason. London does have 4 seasons maybe not as well defined but its still has 4 seasons. Anyway lets not get into a pointless argument over something so trivial and stupid because everybody knows London has 4 seasons, FACT.
Yeah, at night. The coldest July high since 1980 was recorded in 2005, and was 16.0C.
no during day! im not talking about london but Peterborough... high of 14c in august 2010, and low 5c...
June 2007 - high of 13c and night temperature -2c
as for London Heathrow:
5th of June 2009 - high 14.1c
6th June 2009 - high 14.5c
12 June 2010 - 15c
3rd June 2012 - high of 13c 11th june 2012 - 13c again
I think we all understand what your cutoff point is - you've made it clear a million times!
It's not just me. Just ask anyone who lives in Chicago, NYC, Philadelphia, Rome, Madrid, or any other city located on or around the 41N line (much less anyone further south) what mid summer lows they would be accustomed to, they would say 20C is more or less typical. A 20C high would be a record breaking low max temp.
