One of the most temperate climates in the world vs. one of the most extreme continental ones. Which climate would you prefer?

Of course I choose ÃŽle Amsterdam for being warmer year round

Ile Amsterdam even if a little too temperate. Don't think I could handle the dark and frigid Yakutian winters.

This is hard because I don't really like either. I prefer the rainfall of Ile Amsterdam but it has never had snow or frost, ever. Yakutsk winters are far too cold and it's far too dry..

Yakutsk any day. It's too dry and summer highs are too hot but at least it's got a winter.

Yakutsk... No thanks. I choose Il Amsterdam, although the summers are too cool there.

One place is too cold for too long.

The other is boring.

Neither

Yakutsk for me. It actually has a winter with (extreme) cold and some snow. Ile Amsterdam has nicer summer highs, but that doesn't make up for the other 9 months that are far too warm and its warmer-than-Yakutsk summer lows.
