Yet another freezing night here in NJ. Freezing temperatures should take a break next week across the northeast as temperatures rise into the low-mid 60's. However it returns with vengeance in November. They are predicting snowfall on November 8th.
Hope the snow pans out. I'm jealous. In TN the 45 day forecast has no below freezing highs until December 4 or something... and no snow. But those forecasts that far out are notoriously inaccurate. You can't put much stock in anything beyond 7-10 days. So while the forecasts to November 1 or so are probably going to be close, the mid to late November predictions could be way off.
It has in MI. I had frost on my car the other morning. Overall up till this week the weather has been super nice and warm. The last few days though it has been cooler and rain which is more typical for the end of October.

No snowfall yet. It's after all the mitten state . I heard that there was snow in Michigan a couple days back. How does the winter forecast look this year.
Some posters have - one poster from Winnipeg, another somewhere in Idaho or Wyoming (called Susannah, I think), NorthernMoose from Michigan.
We have a poster from Winnipeg?
