I've seen it at 95 at 9.30pm here on several occasions last summer. As a matter of fact, 80 at 9:30pm is pretty common here during high summer.

Currently 70ºF / 21ºC at 1:45pm with smoke haze. Still bloody hot in the sun though, even in a t-shirt! Well, I guess that's Australian solar radiation for ya! Many people on the australian weather forums reckon that Melbourne has extremely bright and intense sunshine.

SAB, what's causing all that smoke? And what does SAB stand for...your initails?

Please, ILNC, trade with me...not cities but climate. I like your climate, but not city. I mean Houston is okay, but I prefer LA, just not the cold winters.

It's only 57* right now and it stayed in the 60's and was windy once again. At least by this weekend we may be pushing 80.

^^ there's fuel reduction burnoffs happening, and a consistant high pressure cell over Victoria is trapping all this smoke. You get inversions at night, with no wind, so all the crud just lingers around for days and days.

SAB is my nickname.

Looks like a cold blast is coming our way, high 50's for the max temp on the weekend, with wind, hail and thunderstorms.

Mid Missouri and it was 82 yesterday! It was in the 30's about 10 days ago. Beautiful day yesterday, Earth Day. Blue sky, very slight breeze. Just great. Of course it did rain during the night with much thunder. Sounded good tho'.

Yesterday we hit a high of 69. That was wonderful since our average would've been 62.

It's already 63 degrees and it has been a beautiful, calm morning. BUT the winds are supposed to come up. It might be ok cause they're actually predicting a high of 76 for today. It's so nice to actually be above average since we had a long and cold winter. The long range forecast doesn't look as nice though. They're even talking about snow in our Friday's forecast. Hopefully it'd melt though cause the low is supposed to be above freezing.
