Weatherbell is crazy with how they output the snowdata! From the latest NAM model.

AccuPro on left. Weatherbell on right. Accupro includes melting but Weatherbell a foot of snow acros Virginia??? I think it includes the ice. That's why you have to know what your looking at. Accupro not as high res though.

Dude, according to that forecast, we should be bombed tomorrow with snow. I like snow, but over 1 foot is a bit too much to handle.

Round #2 starting.
Current Map. Cold air in place this time. 24°F here this morning. Now we just need the precip before the warm push from the south.

Precip breaking out as light snow and rain down in Virginias.

Still overcast and wet 26 F morning here. Looks like snow could start any minute. Waiting eagerly .

A couple showers straying into central NJ already.

Lots of Virga going to happen. Atmosphere has to moisten up first. Too dry where you and we are.

Check it out! Awesome site...

Wind field showing the Damming east of the Apps. Surface winds moving south. While winds at 4000' moving north. Interesting setup!
