I always grapple with this, because I like different kinds of weather and I'm not sure I'd want to have just one climate, considering that one of the climates I really like doesn't have a very large variance in temperature. Saying that, I would despise to live in a place that sees all kinds of weather with greater extremes. I currently live in Philadelphia and I think the weather is terrible. I'm from Michigan and think the weather is terrible there, too.
Anyway, one house would be in either St Andrews, Edinburgh, or Glasgow (All in Scotland). They are very similar, but St Andrews is right on the sea and perhaps I'd prefer this one most.
The next would probably be in Mid to Southern Italy. There isn't anything better than a summer night in Rome. The weather in incredibly fresh. Portions of Japan would also be up for nomination along with areas around Paris.
Plattsburgh Ny and Key Largo Fl. Year round in Ny w/ occasional trip to Fl to thaw out a bit. Missoula, Atl, and Savannah are my other picks. GA is too far from real warmth in cooler months. And Missoula....is beautiful but rather to live in NY.
Great topic that makes all of us dream for a moment.
Vancouver, BC/Canada OR Seattle Washington areas from May - October.
Central Florida from November - April
Two completely different climates and experiences. I would switch Central Florida for Phoenix, Southern California or Hawaii but I would keep the PNW for the summer season.

I spent one summer in Tokyo. Honestly I did not like the weather much. I don't hate humidity as much as many people do. But after six months of being constantly dripping wet, it gets old fast. There is nothing quite like 95°F temperature and 90% humidity.
Maybe the winter in Tokyo or maybe some other part of Japan could be better. But I don't think I would choose any place in Japan as a place I'd want to live based on the weather.
