Interesting that Atlanta isn't that far up the chart for record highs but has a decently "warm" record low.

The record low for Annapolis is misleading because another weather station in the city got down to -6°F in 1934. The station used in Wikipedia has a relatively short POR.

For Stockholm two US state capitals have less warm heat records (96.8 F) while 19 cities have colder record lows (-26F).

If Australia was a US state, and the capital was Canberra, it would rank =18th for record high (42.2C, 108F) and 4th for record low (-10C, 14F).

London reached it (38.1c) and an orchard near Faversham also reached it (38.5c).

Wikipedia claims it has gotten down to -17F in the UK.
