Portsmouth wins, and the next battle is yet again Mountain View vs Porto Alegre

Oh, sorry! Portsmouth because it's milder. I prefer Mountain View because it's cooler

Medicine Hat, Canada

Oops B87, now I understand the post you did

Essaouira is comfy year round and warm enough in summer so wins, but Medicine Hat is one of Canada's better climates

I prefer Akureyri because Pskov's -40.6 °C record low means the cold waves have to be pretty severe there, while Akureyri's -23.0 °C record low is much milder. Also, Akureyri's summers are very interesting (I like very cool summers) and sunshine hours are awesome! I love dark climates!

Elfin Cove, Alaska
Turpan, China

As bad as Turpan is, it has more comfortable days than Elfin Cove, that is a maritime climate south of where I am on this planet... raw deal there! I assume you love it though
