March/April. Nice temperatures without a glaring sun.

Here in Maryland, I'd probably say October is the overall best. Spring can have awesome days but the weather is all over the place.

It depends on what I want to do.
June, July and August are the best months for the beach, but they're definetely too hot for working or studying.
April, May and September have perfect temperature and weather for both work, sports and spare time, although September and May are often too hot for working or studying in the afternoon.
Overall, I would say June and September in shaded places and with light clothing.

I'd say April and September. Dry and warm, but not hot. Sometimes September can get hot, but it cools over very quickly so you don't notice the heat.

April, May, September and October are great here. They are all very comfortable with a lot of thunderstorms (April and May) or potentially heavy rainstorms and no chance for heat (September, October).

June, July and August can occasionally be comfortable and have interesting weather events, but most of the time they are uncomfortably warm if you're planning on doing anything productive.

November and March are the most boring months, with boring temperatures that aren't warm enough to be comfortable, too few sunshine hours and no interesting weather events.

December, January and February can be interesting because of the snow, but it's mostly the same as November and March while being even colder and gloomier.

I live in Iowa, and it's pleasant right now. 63 with a nice wind. I'd say April and May are typically our most comfortable months. However, it snowed in May last year, and April is known as a crapshoot when you can get anything from a blizzard to 80 degree days and everything in between. It usually starts getting hot in late-May-early-June and that heat sometimes continues through September. October thru March are generally cold or cool months.

Same climate here, and I was going to say September through June, because July and August can get kind of hot. Then I remembered my time in the South (North Carolina) and decided I like all the months here.
