Just about hate my climate.

- Erratic unreliable summers
- only 10 days with thunder annually, worse than places like Scandinavia and UK
- windy skin penetrating damp overcast winters
- some days in summer are as cold as those in winter
- takes absolutely for-****en-ever to warm up in spring
- 47 clear days vs 180 cloudy days annually
- average of 140 days of rain and drizzle annually, did I mention only 10 of them with thunder...
- waterlogged ground for most of winter
- average 9am/3pm cloud cover is 5.3/5.1 oktas respectively
- any spell of good weather has to be repayed with interest

It's adequate, which justifies a C- grade, but a lot of improvements would be nice.

Positives:

- proper 4 season climate
- good enough summer sunshine
- good summers for the latitude
- good amount of snow, not too little, not too much
- hardly ever any dangerous weather events
- cold winters that kill all vermin and palm trees
- excellent amount of precipitation

Negatives:

- spring too short
- summer too cold and short for my liking
- late autumn drags on for too long
- too gloomy in winter
- latitude too high
- winter too long
- too few t-storms
- most events (t-storms, fog, sunshine, record temps etc) too restricted to the season
- rarely anything else surprising
- too humid in autumn and winter

Can't complain overall.
Summers can get a bit long and overpowering at times, spring unpredictable-esp October, but generally ok. Rainfall getting less reliable as well, apart from this time of year.

Rather satisfied. Not the best climate in the world, but still nice.

Sun and rainfall should be evenly spread - They seem very erratic. For instance, if we have sunny days they'll go on for months & if we have rainy days they'll also go on for some time.

Pros: occasional snow and cold, precipitation, boring periods never too long.
Cons: not enough snow and cold, tends to be unlucky (surrounding areas seeing better weather), summer hot and humid for way too long.

Slight modification to your posts, describes Buxton well.

Quite satisfied overall. The past year has been 4-5°C warmer than average and really isn't representative of the climate. As long as it stays near average, it's great.

Long, dark, snowy winters, dry and sunny springs, pleasantly warm summers, gloomy and rainy autumns. Always something to look forward to.

Pluses of Kharkiv's climate:
- Moderate four seasons, with warm but not very hot and cold and snowy but not too brutal winters.
- Rare extreme events (such as tornadoes)
Minuses
- Summer still get quite hot, especially in recent times, when the heatwaves become brutal (up to 39C!)
- Winter snowpack is quite unstable, especially in recent times.
- Could be wetter year-round.
- I don't like the sunshine distribution, I prefer more in winter and less in summer.
Overall, quite satisfied.

Nice, FR

+Fabulous summers, sunny, warm, long days
+Great from May to September inclusive
+April and October have their really nice moments as well (this April has been really good)
+Great topography and landscape

-Incredible scarcity of real warm days in spring compared to the rest of the country, high temps stays in a limbo 10-20°C range for months when even Paris gets some 20°C+ days as early as late March
-Months of total boredom, clouds, early darkness and rain from November to February
-Snow is extremely rare

Overall: quite satisfied, but in a bipolar way: love April-Sept, indifferent to October, hate Nov-Feb
