Drove home in an ice storm Saturday (wasn't supposed to come until after midnight) and had to squirt deicer on the windshield a lot. Drove by looking through the area the heater kept clear at the bottom of the window. No where near as bad as they got South of us, but still not fun. And now.....!

Tonight Monday December 10th

Cloudy. A chance of freezing rain...snow and sleet in the evening...then snow...sleet and freezing rain after midnight. Not as cold. Snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 2 inches. Ice accumulation of up to one tenth of an inch. Low in the lower 20s. South wind near 10 mph. Chance of precipitation 90 percent.

Tuesday
Snow in the morning...then snow likely in the afternoon. Snow accumulation of 3 to 4 inches. Total snow accumulation 4 to 6 inches. High in the upper 20s. Northwest wind 5 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 90 percent.

Wednesday Night
Partly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of snow. Low 15 to 20.

I don't envy anyone cursed with that weather. Yes, it's icy and messy here. But, hey...it's winter!

Wow..that's pretty bad. You folks in Iowa and Nebraska just got slammed a few days ago too and now this. I was born in Nebraska so I understand...makes my drizzle and 40 degrees here not so terrible...

This is one of the reasons we are retiring in Tennessee. As I told my wife: "I'm selling my snowblower on the way out of town."

Lover-ly weather for sure. Here in the Catskills everything is encased in ice. Spent the last 4 hours trying to plow it away with some success - but with a 1500 ft driveway yikes what a mess. Better now - same tonight though is forecast. Stay safe all you ice dwellers. Also made a trail for my old old Shepard who hit the deck this morning and couldn't get up but is ok now. He's running around now.

Ive had ice and snow several times in TN too (Clarksville). Their winters suck, it rains all the time. Give me snow anyday, its not nearly as depressing.
