Yeah, the Carolinas especially SC looks very unpleasant right now. At least it's hot enough to be interesting up there I guess....

And yeah.....80 F lows aren't unusual at all down here especially in August. Something to look forward too. I'm guessing this SE Ridge is going to pesky, and we'll have a record warm fall/winter again this year.

I'm so sick of sun, sun, sun every day.....it's like April right now but with hotter and more humid conditions. Horrid to say the least.

This year just has been an epic fail in terms of weather conditions. Record warm winter, record warm and dry spring, and an unbelievably late start to the wet season.

It's almost pointless to even follow the weather here this year....it's the same day in and day out.

If the wet season doesn't start soon down there, you're gonna be getting some nasty fires in the Everglades. What's the drought situation like down there at the moment?

Looks like a moderate drought in Broward, and severe drought in southern Miami-Dade (where the Everglades are):

Regional Drought Monitor

That's as of June 11, 2015. In other words we need some ****ing rain. Lol.

Okay I hate summer that is no secret...I can usually tolerate it until September, but this year we have been in a heat wave the whole month and it's driving me to the point of insanity, the next 10 days here indexes of up to 115F....this is not Arizona where you have the Dry heat..this is the southeast where humidity is the name of the game..

I've been tired of summer since March.

83 F and sunny in July?

Yeah.....I'm going to play the lottery right now because that's more likely to happen. I notice accuweather forecasts are **** for here. Always underestimating highs.
