No, I only burn if I spend 3 or 4 hours in contact with sunlight, and it has to be at least May, I won't burn sooner.
In a few days after the incident, I go from burnt to tanned.

Yep.. I got some colour after skiing today, it was sunny and at 1600m-2400m (about 6000ft) at 45N the air is obviously thinner so it's easier
In my hometown UV index is 0 in December. So, I never get sunburn in my hometown in December
