Looks like we have much more variation between months.
Not a bad July there.. warmer than ours

Beautiful Rain! Wonderful joyous drops of wet stuff coming down on my parched yard. My dog tilts her head at the sky with a quizzical look ... What is this and how did my human get me in the shower without me noticing?

I love how it makes the pink rocks in my yard look so rich and deep against the green and orange of my Mexican Bird of Paradise. The cloudy sky provides a great respite from hot sunny months to come. And there is no smell like the smell of the Sonoran desert when it rains. Earthy, clean, fresh, pungent, WET.

Now if we could only bookmark this day and come back to it when we are in our 30th day of 15% humidity and 110º!

Nothing like a Friday afternoon with a few beers in your belly.

Well what a lovely day it turned out to be after a forecast of 15C and cloud.

18C and sunny all day which is around average for this time of year, so I won't be complaining today. Time to start drinking some beer while the sun is still out..

Move to AZ! It's rodeo every Wednesday and Friday nite at the Buffalo Chip. Out in New River they have them every couple of weeks. Wickenburg, AZ is just one big rodeo. Yeeeeeeeehaaaaw! Love them cowboys, bulls and horses We just had Winter Range with all the Cowboy Mounted Shooters and Single Action tournaments. Very cool.
