I've been skiing a few times in the Cairngorm's. It's a fantastic place to ski, and there's always been plenty of snow.

The annual average temperature in scotland is same as that of germany

this winter in terms of snow Glencoe had the most snow of any ski resort in europe. Highlands are underrated for snow and can get huge snowfalls.

there was 10 metres of snow in ski resorts.
But that is on mountain stations! It is hardly representative of Scotland as a whole, who lives up a mountain??

Scotland is underrated for snow and cold. most of the highlands , aberdeenshire ,perthsire ,sutherland ,scottish borders get ample snow and cold.

Maybe its just me but a -5 C in Aviemore felt colder to me than -10 in chamonix.

Very few countries are colder than scotland in summers.

But only the Highlands are particularly cold & snowy, the bulk of Scotland, where most people live, isn't cold at all by most people's standards. It may get rubbish summers, but the winters are not "cold" compared to many other countries...
