Predict how long we will be seeing -10C temps each winter. The only year I can recall not seeing -10C in winter is in 2008. The lowest was -7.4C here in Stockholm. I'm sure Oslo and Helsinki have seen -10C temps each winter.
By seeing I mean each capitals absolute low being -10C or less each winter.
I think -10C will be reached in every winter or virtually all winters for the next 100 years and beyond. Even parts of the UK with much milder winters see -10C every year and I don't expect Stockholm, Oslo or Helsinki to get anywhere near as mild as even the coldest places in the UK.
Also, Stockholm Bromma Airport reached -11C in March 2008. Going by the Nordic definition of winter, winter started and ended in March that year, lol.
The coldest minimum in Oslo in the period January - April 1989 was -5.7C.
However, December had some cold lows.
In the coming decades, a winter with no low of -10C or colder might happen in Oslo. However, there will be cold weather snaps in the future too, but they will be rarer and will be unable to beat cold records.

SMHI definition of the 'start' of winter, is 5 consecutive days below 0C , which indeed started in March 2008
