What is your favorite type of weather on Christmas Day ? What is your least favorite? My favorite is overcast ,colder ( about 28 or 29 degrees) with at least three inches of snow on the ground and snow showers , light snow or flurries off and on through out the day. My least is bright and sunny . If I wanted that I'd go to Florida .Arizona or Southern California ( I am in Ohio).

Snow on the ground. That's the only important thing. I quite like snow and overcast weather on Christmas, as it feels cosy, but sun is good too, and we've had too many cloudy Christmases.

Perhaps you should look into these two parallel Christmas forecast threads:

//www.city-data.com/forum/weath...cast-year.html

//www.city-data.com/forum/weath...be-your-9.html

Anyways, my Fave is an overcast and windy day with flurries and a high of 27 F followed by a cold and clear low of 13 F with 2.5" of snow.

Our actual forecast is a Partly cloudy day with a high of 35 F and a clear night with a low of 21 F with zero snow pack .

Most favorite: Heavy Snow in the morning, then clearing to a sunny afternoon and a clear crisp night.
Low: -8°C (18°F) High: -2°C (28°F). Snow accumulation 5 to 10 cm (or 2 to 4 inches)
Least favorite: Rainy and windy with overcast skies the whole day, High: 9°C (48°F), Low: 7°C (45°F).

This year the latter option is more likely..

Partly cloudy and 65-70 F would be perfect. And low around 50 or maybe upper 40s.

The worst is overcast and below freezing.

A snowy day would be great.
A cold, rainy one not so much...

Favourite: Highs in the 20s, lows around 13-7..
Snowing in the morning, if not all day

Just a great day to go out and take the kids sledding and make a snowman. Go ice skating. Just enjoy the winter weather.

Least Favourite: Highs in the 80s and lows in the 70s. (90s would make me wanna kill myself)
We had that in 2011 and it was just, ewww.

This year is predicted to be 78/70 with "spotty showers". How dreadfully dull. Meanwhile my cousin and aunt are spending their first white Christmas in Omaha. Lucky bastards xP

We spent our New years eve hiking in snow covered woods, having a blast. New years day just rained all day, and we wanted to go skiing, what a bummer :P
