Combined with averages from 3 other cities, how do you rate London's improved climate?
Record Highs
Hobart, Taz, Aus (Obviously in reverse as seasons are backwards in Aus!)
Average Highs October to Feb: Portsmouth, England, UK March to September: Heathrow, London, UK Average Lows
Portsmouth, England, UK
Record Lows Heathrow, London, UK
Rainfall and Rainy Days Portsmouth, England, UK
Sunshine hours and Maximum Possible % of Sunshine September to March: Melbourne, Victoria, Aus (Obviously in reverse as seasons are backwards in Aus!) April to August: Portsmouth, England, UK
I would personally rate it a B-. Plenty of Sunshine, though winters would still be a drag... However, not so much of that just gray staff in the sky! LOL
So with this improvement to London, how do you rate the city?
Transition seasons still too cool for my liking, although average lows are getting better.. in fact Heathrow for 1991-2014 has average lows about 1C above the 1981-2010 averages, so it is similar to your chart but warmer in Spring and Autumn
The fact that winters are milder (less chance of snow) and with the 42c record high gives London a lower grade...
That makes it even better for me
Although in all seriousness, I wouldn't mind a short cold snap this winter with some really heavy snow for some interest! As long as it lasts no longer than a few days..
An F? What so you think this climate will kill you?
