What model is that cold lover referring to? He takes right after his big daddy Bastardi with trying to find any hint of cold and snow he can in any forecast.
I've seen some accurate stuff from Ryan Maue but that map is a bit much. But the model output for Philly is irrelevant to the maps, the maps show no snow for Philly. Neither NWS nor any of the long-term forecasts show any much of any snow (well weather.com has snow flurries, but on a day with highs in the mid to upper 40s, so if real only briefly in the morning). Perhaps those forecasts are wrong and new model output suggests something colder, but I doubt conditions support anything but minor amounts of snow. To take a model output and say cancel Spring is obvious hyperbole.

Current 2pm temps are the warmest temps for the year:

NYC: 63°
Scranton: 63°
Windsor Locks at 62°
Hartford: 60°
Providence: 59°
Albany: 59°

Boston's warmest for the year is 57, they are 56 so we'll see if the max goes higher.

Sun and warmth.. I admit, nice to have this break once a week. lol I think this is the most number of hours I had 50+ with sun

Didn't think it would happen, but soon after the rain ended...let there be light. Severe thunderstorm warning with hail reports just to the west of Louisville. Along I-65 looks pretty ripe.

Boston had their 3rd coldest Jan-Mar period. That's so impressive given the fact that records are 143 years old!! Look at the Top 10. WOW! Lets hope 1875 and 1885 have no errors..

Also good to note.. The record warmest for the period came 3 yrs ago but that wasn't from the coldest bottom.. so these cold drops are much more impressive.

Tues, Wed, Thurs next week is looking cold. Euro says we dont pass the mid 40s here for 3 days. That means most of the day in the 30s and low 40s. Guess the wood stove continues. Gees.
