Looks like a comfortable 4 seasons climate to me.
Winter looks crisp with a moderate amount of snow and also quite a lot of sunshine, summer is warm but not too humid unlike other parts of Japan and average lows in the warmest August still drops to a comfortable low of 16°C (low 60s).

Imo one of the better climates in Japan for me (Sapporo is a little too snowy and also its summers are still quite humid with too warm nights (19°C in August).

I'm rating it a B- only things i don't like are the less sunny summers and the pronounced seasonal lag but this is typical for most parts of Japan.

How would you rate it?

The winters are too sunny, and the springs a bit too cool. A-

C. Needs more sunshine, reversed rainfall pattern, and less humid summers.

Japan has the worst climates in the world followed by China.

F+

Too cloudy, too snowy and summers are too humid (despite the pleasant temps).

C+. Springs are surprisingly weak and I'm not a fan of the lag or that the warmest months are the gloomiest and rainiest. I'm only liking the Oct-Dec period.

I agree on the grade. Summers are also not quite warm enough.

Summers are too warm. Winters have adequate snow but are a bit too warm. Sunlight is low enough. Precip is plenty.

Not bad, overall.
