Woof.

New and old homes.

Found another artificial waterfall in NYC.

Looks almost fully out.

Prospect Park was popular

Farmer's Market next to the arch:

Spoiler

The arch. No confederate flags here. On top says "to the defenders of the union 1865"

looking to the east. Arch is much nicer now that they removed some traffic lanes and added it to the plaza:

Some sorta hippie drum circle thing going on:

Spoiler

Lilacs are out:

zooming out and another lilac:

The Gowanus Canal. Strong low-tide smell, with an extra fragrance of toxic chemicals. An advantage of a poorly functioning nose. Think they're the dirty stuff on the top layer. Do NOT swim in the Gowanus. I'm told kayaking on the canal is also unpleasant.

Gowanus at night:

Spoiler

On a wall:

gardens by homes. Think the neighborhood is Carroll Gardens. Or near there:

Commercial street is all brick:

More homes with flowers this morning:

I like the colors:

less colorful:

Bleeding Hearts:

Hi there!

Nice pics. This is Brooklyn, correct? Piedmont Park here in Atlanta is like the pic you took of the park, perhaps not quite so crowded.

They need to do something about that canal...lol.

No confederate flag and a memorial to the Union - let's just say I'm glad we're one country instead of two...lol.

I rode around a bit visiting a friend in town today - it's amazing at all the condos and high-density that are going up around the Beltline - the 30-year project which will completely transform Atlanta. It's amazing how much things have changed in the 10 years since I've lived here. No pics, but I'll take some when I show my out-of-towner friend around a week from now.

Question, are there places where graffiti artists are allowed to showcase their art? We have a few places like that in town - I should do a graffiti photo tour sometime - there's some nice stuff out there.

Pretty astute observation...lol.

The state of New York came out with a different plate design, which they do about every 10 years. Thing is, not everyone is issued the new plate right away, so there's both the old and new designs on New York cars. I like the old one much better...lol.

The new ones are so ugly. Revenue booster for the state.
