Nice pic! I like the look of the sky. I see some trees still leafing in the background there. The recent heat here pushed everything out to full leaf now.
Definitely Maple. Would need to see trunk or a Fall photo or a leaf close-up..
Sugar Maples got vibrant Orange/Red colors where-as other Maples are Yellow,Orange

Almost full here. Probably by next weekend. Looks like Summer now with the shade, green, and full leaves mostly. Still about 20% without mature leaves especially the oaks..

5/9/15. Robins Nest & Eggs inside my Spruce Tree. The blue string is from an old frayed tarp I had laying around. I left it out on purpose since I realized birds use it to build their nests.

As always oaks need more time to became fully green, taken today as well.There are even some less advanced oaks here than this.
