I have been living in SoCal in the IE for the past year, and have felt the differences between the temperatures of a year ago, and the present. Last winter, the mornings seemed cooler, and daytime temps were comfie. Now, mornings are comfie (to me at least, having moved down from the Bay Area), and daytime temps have been in the 80s for the past few days.

Now, this news of "megadroughts" coming in the not too distant future is very concerning:

One client scientist in another article was quoted as saying, "“When you stack these model projections against the reconstruction of past climates, the results are so sobering that they have me ready to go out for a drink.”
