Light rain is more a feature of latitude and geography, rather than climate type. That means that climate groups that span big ranges of latitude and have diverse geography, will have very different types of rainfall. I would think that's self-explanatory, but having posters saying that Oceanic climate= low rain-day/rainfall ratios, suggests that it isn't.
Theropod referred specifically to a climate type (Oceanic) with the claim that NZ gets a low rain-day/rainfall ratio.

I referring more to the frequency of drizzle/light rain being higher with higher latitude and depending on geography.
