As a sun lover myself that's still too much for me!

3100 hours is enough.
I wish they record AM and PM (local solar time wise) sunshine hours data. My ideal would be max sun in the morning (sunrise-solar noon) and min sun in the afternoon/evening (solar noon-sunset). Average 40-70% sunshine hours anually and 70-90% of the day's sunshine is before solar noon

I would prefer that as well. Morning and early afternoon sun is nice, but afterwards it gets depressing.

Good conversation between Eric and Brian right now. A meteorologist and a Climatologist talking about clouds. Eric thought November was cloudiest in Boston. Its not.

Brian reminds us Sun percentage is for daytime, cloud percentage is for 24hrs.

It would make both sunrise and sunset seem earlier

While I enjoy the early sunsets of the winter, I wouldn't mind longer daylight if it was cloudy during the evening.

Although I love winter I hate early sunsets. Late sunrises don't bother me but early sunsets are a bit depressing for me especially at the start of darker days in October and November. I like our April's daylight hours day starts at 7 till 7 to 8 at afternoon.
