That 90° NYC hit that day in June was BS for few minutes.. Would of been setting records for latest 90F. Another setup? Maybe NOAA went to the station with a hairdryer. Lol!

Anyway.. just 1 is below the normal 6 they should have by now.

And you believe that?

Maybe NWS are liars and the high here yesterday was only 92 F, not 93.

The hairdryer was a joke...it was a campfire. Lol. Sucks a few minutes ruined what could of been an extreme

The hottest KNYC has recorded this July so far is 89 (link).

By no definition have we had normal summer weather. Even some demonstrably cool summers such as 1969, 1976, 1992, 1996, 2000 or 2009 have either had heat waves by now (April 1976 and 2009, May 1992, 1996 or 2000) or had one in progress (1969). 1985 and 2004 were the only ones I can think of that did not have a heat wave, meaning three 90+ days by now.
