Back home, the tame record highs in April, May and September. Even Hamburg has higher records than Frankfurt.
Also that July has the lowest record low of the three summer months (Jun 3.6; Jul 2.8; Aug 5 °C)
Btw, the records on Wikipedia were not correct (just from the 81-10 timespan or from other stations than the airport). The correct records mitigate my complaints above : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frankfurt#Climate
The main thing that annoys me about Bellingham's climate is the lack of convection. I've heard thunder only once in the 2.5 years I've lived here, while even Seattle averages 7 days of thunderstorms per year.

In terms of statistics I suppose our average yearly lowest minimum temperature (aka coldest night of the year). It's somewhere in the mid teens though some years don't drop below 20. I really have no use for temps that cold. I'd prefer maybe mid 20s. It's nice getting a hard freeze to keep the bugs and weeds in check for at least part of the year.
I think the most annoying statistic here is the variability of snowfall. We can either get no measurable snow like in 1972-73 or get absolutely dumped with 78.7 inches in 2009-2010. I doesn't matter how warm or cold the winter is. In fact, as winter temps rise snowfall increases. All we need for a snowstorm is a fraction of an inch of moisture falling at temps below 35F. This season we didn't get much, but not because of above average temps, just sheer probability as NYC got around average for January and February.
Every winter we wait for a blizzard that may never come.
