There are lots of good things about the US & it is a great country, but the guns laws there scare the hell out of me & I could never live there for that reason alone. Madness...
You are letting the media create that impression. I'd feel unsafe in many parts of the UK. I can think of--what?--two recent cases where people were beheaded in London. On the other hand, it's very peaceful and tranquil in parts of the Poconos, for instance. I love it there. And guess what? People there own a lot of guns.

Oh, and let's not forget Muslims sexually exploiting British children in Rotherham.
But noooooo... the real problem is all those lawful Americans with their guns.

But we openly discuss what has happened in Rotherham - we already know and accept that a culture of overlooking this type of activity has existed for decades, possibly longer.
Americans, on the other hand, refuse to accept that a problem exists, and prefer to bury their heads in the sand and pretend that everything is fine and that guns are actually good. For some reason, you are incapable of admitting when you're wrong. You see owning a gun as some sort of fundamental right.
The rest of the world looks upon you with confusion. It makes no sense.
Having the right to bear arms is completely unnecessary and a stupid law. I am glad that I live in the UK and don't have to put up with nonsense mass gun killing sprees every other week.
It's a shame, because there are more guns in the US than people, so even if laws were changed it would be pointless..

Preventing Muslims from entering the UK will do nothing to halt the massive scale of child abuse that has apparently existed within numerous British institutions considering some of the most prolific abusers are white males who served in Parliament.. do some research on the Westminster Pedophile Ring. Muslims are the least of our problems.

I'm glad about this too. I'm glad our government had the balls to take all the guns. They weren't received well initially but over time we've been thankful for it. Obviously it's harder to do this with America because it's on a much larger scale.
